ATTRA - Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas - is the national sustainable farming information center located at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
This year, ATTRA is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a leader in the transfer of information and resources on sustainable agriculture and alternative farming systems. Since it was founded in 1987, ATTRA has prepared over 100,000 reports on the latest sustainable farming production practices and diversified crop and livestock enterprises.
ATTRA provides technical assistance to farmers, Extension agents, market
gardeners, agricultural researchers, and other ag professionals in all
50 states. Topics addressed by ATTRA can be categorized into three
