New Agroforestry Technical Note

This is to inform you of the recent release of "Agroforestry for Farms
and Ranches" by the USDA National Agroforestry Center. The guide is
intended to be used to help land managers incorporate tree and shrub
practices into agricultural systems. Types of systems described include
field windbreaks, livestock windbreaks, farmstead windbreaks, living
snowfences, alley cropping, contour buffer strips, riparian forest
buffers, filter strips, multistory cropping, wood fiber plantation, and
wastewater management planting.
