MSE Director - job posting




DIRECTOR:  McGILL SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENT (MSE)


McGill University is seeking a Director for the newly established
McGill School of Environment.  The School will initially offer a
multidisciplinary core program and specialized environmental domains
leading to either a BA or BSc degree, on both the Montreal and
Macdonald Campuses of McGill.  The School will draw together
academics from a range of disciplines and Faculties including
Science, Arts, and Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.  The MSE
is expected to become a focal point for environmental research.  The
ideal candidate will be a successful scholar with a strong
international reputation and multidisciplinary experience in
environment.  She/he will be expected to lead the School
academically and administratively, and to help build strong links
between the University and external stakeholders.   The successful
candidate will be cross-appointed between the School and an
affiliated department.
