Check out the financing materials on "energy efficient construction"
available from the Alliance to Save Energy (202-857-0666), the EPA Energy
Star Program (202-233-9790), and the list of lenders currently offering
energy efficient mortgages (Chase, Norwest, PHH).

Also, expect some manufacturers of "green" products for construction to
aggressively push the financial industry to recognize the marketing
opportunities they are creating.

While these are not specifically on "enviro" concerns, the connection should
be strong and obvious.
