GBlist: Philco Washer/Dryer combination

Contrary to the trials and tribulations as noted below, we have had no
problems with our horizontal axis W/D for the last 3 years,
which in Canada is marketed by Kariba Bendix Sales and in the US by
Richlund Sales. Very water and energy conserving. Tight dimensions. Space
saving. Easy for handicapped use. Reasonable price. They also have a self-
condensing W/D that does away with the usual exhaust vent.
