GBlist: Re: greenbuilding-digest V1 #361
Another useful energy software is AKWarm, developed by the Alaska
Housing Finance Corporation and the US dept. of Energy in Anchorage,
Alaska. It has been tested against DOE-2, and compares favorably ion most
areas. It is currently only set up for heating climates, but atempts at
adding a cooling module are on the boards. It is free to anyone who
requests it, and can be adapted for any area of the country. If you would
like more information on AKwarm, let me know at this e-mail address.
