Re: GBlist: ideal environmental window
Mike: Having worked with fiberglass in construction, I am very concerned
with serious air pollution and embodied energy during manufacturing.I
would rather work with a renewable resource such as straw or even wood
over fiberglass. Also is it not a petroleum resource? Perhaps someone can
enlighten me, if I am wrong. Durability and maintenance are excellent. How
similar is its coefficient of expansion/contraction to that of glass?
