Announcements for Thursday, December 3, 2009:
All young men interested in playing baseball this spring should plan on meeting December 8th (Tuesday) in the health room at 2:40. If you participate in a winter sport, please see Coach Smothers before this meeting.
Tickets go on sale today during all lunch periods for the Winter Dance Concert to be held next Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 and will also be sold during lunches on Monday and at the door. All dance classes will be performing in this special concert event!
Girls soccer free play is today at 3:00 PM on Middle School softball field. All girls are reminded to continue to turn in all appropriate paperwork to Coach Dinkenor.
DECA Members are reminded to turn in both permission forms for our upcoming district competition to Mrs. Shaw-Deberry in room 149 no later than Friday December 4th. These forms must be received by Friday in order to participate in this event. Also, a reminder that today is the last prep session beginning promptly at 2:40 in room 149.

The High School Orchestra will be performing at Crabtree Valley Mall tonight, December 3rd, at 7:00 PM in the Food Court. Please come and enjoy hearing some of your holiday favorites.
This Friday, December 4th, is a Spirit Friday. Leesville Pride sportswear will be sold in the hallway between the cafeteria and the media center during all lunches and through carpool time. Also, this will be the last chance to buy your GO Green Pride tote bags. The prices are as follows: one bag for $4, two bags for $7 and 3 bags for $10. Help save the environment, show your Leesville Pride, and support an AP Environmental class project!
The Math Club will meet today, December 3. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Kolb's room - 2205. We will begin promptly at 2:35 and conclude the meeting no later than 3:30. All interested students are welcome to attend this meeting.
Hey Leesville! The Christian Student Association is having a meeting today, December 3rd from 2:30 - 4:00 in Ms. Gruttemeyer's room 12220. We are starting our first lesson of the series on Biblical relationships in the home, so make sure to be there, everyone is welcome. We will have snacks and a fun game too. See you Thursday!
Students who qualify to be inducted into ITS on December 10 are listed on the call board in the Theatre hall. If you think you have earned 100 hours, have worked on two major productions, and have worked on two different aspects of theatre, then you should see Mrs. Catania in room 22 by Friday.

Winterfest is just around the corner and we need talented students to audition for this annual event. Please come by Trailer 7 for an audition form. Auditions will be held after school on December 15th. See Mrs. Pennington or Ms. Tibbetts if you have any questions. Class rings ordered on the original order days will be delivered today, December 3rd during all lunches. Balance due may be paid by cash, check, or money order.
Jostens will be at Leesville for the final make-up day to take Senior cap and gown and graduation announcement orders today, December 3rd during all lunches in the front lobby. Don't forget your $60.00 deposit.
