WARNING: Due to a Bicycle Race across the Tappan Zee Bridge on Sunday, October 6, 2002, several directions have changed. Two out
of four northbound lanes on the Bridge are closed and Exit 10 and Exit 11 north- and west-bound are
closed.

Holiday Inn (for Saturday):
- Directions from New Jersey and South: Take the NJ Turnpike. After last
toll the road will divide, stay in local lanes and follow signs to George Washington Bridge. DO
NOT CROSS BRIDGE. Take last exit before bridge (Fort Lee exit). Follow signs to Palisades
Interstate Parkway. Follow directions from Palisades, below.
- Directions From New York City and Long Island: Follow signs to George Washington Bridge
(Upper Level). Stay in right lane on George Washington Bridge. Exit to Palisades Interstate
Parkway. Follow directions from Palisades, below.
- From Upstate New York: Take New York State Thruway I-87 to Exit 13S (Palisades
Parkway/New Jersey). Head South on Palisades Parkway, following directions from Palisades, below.
- Directions From Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take Palisades Parkway to Exit 5N. Exit
5N puts you on Route 303 North. Follow Route 303 for 1/2 mile. On your right you will see the
Holiday Inn sign. Make right turn past Chase Bank. The hotel will be on your right.
- Directions From New England: Take I-95S to I-287 West. Follow directions from Westchester,
below.
- Directions From Westchester: Take I-287 West to the Tappan Zee Bridge. Cross bridge to
Exit 12 (West Nyack). As you come off the exit ramp, exit onto Route 303 going South. Follow Route 303 for
approximately 3.8 miles. Make left onto Kings Highway (between Chase Bank and Provident Savings Bank).
Holiday Inn will be on your right.
View on the Hudson (for Sunday):
- Directions from the Holiday Inn: If you have
Adobe Acrobat, click here to download and print a map. Make a left out of the Holiday Inn parking
lot onto Kings Highway. Make a left from Kings Highway onto Route 303. At the second light, make a left
onto Route 340. At the second light, make a right onto Main Street (to your left will be S. Highland Ave.
and you cannot go straight due to construction). Take Main Street past the first light (which is Union
Street) and make a left at the playground, which is William Street. The next light you come to will be
Valentine Avenue. Go straight onto Ferdon Avenue. This road will eventually curve and at a traffic light
will meet/become Piermont Avenue. Go straight through the traffic light and over a set of train tracks.
At Ash Street (right after an auto repair shop and right before the M&T Bank, both on your right) make
a right. Take Ash Street to the end and make a left onto Roundhouse. Make the first right onto Shad Row.
- Directions from New England: Take Rt 95 West to the New York State line, get onto the
Cross Westchester Expressway (a.k.a. I-287 West). Follow the directions from Westchester, below.
- Directions from Westchester, NY: Take I-287 West over the Tappan Zee Bridge.
NOTE: ONLY TWO OUT OF THE FOUR NORTHBOUND LANES WILL BE OPEN TODAY, SO LEAVE EXTRA TIME.
Cross bridge to Exit 12 (West Nyack). As you come off the exit ramp, exit onto Route 303 going South. Follow Route 303 for
approximately 4 miles to Route 340. At this point, you can follow the directions listed above for travel
from the Holiday Inn to the View on the Hudson, starting from Route 340. Feel free to view
and print the map if you have Adobe Acrobat.
- Directions from Garden State Parkway: Go north on the
Garden State Parkway into New York State all the way to the New York State
Thruway. Follow the directions from Upper New York, below.
- Directions from Upper New York: Take the Thruway
(I-87/I-287) South and East to Exit 11, "Nyack". At the end of exit turn
left at light onto Rt 59 (East). Get into the right hand lane. Go through
four traffic lights (the first is at Rt 9W, the last is Broadway). Go one
block past the fourth light (Broadway) and turn right onto Piermont Avenue.
Follow the directions from Nyack, below.
- Directions from Nyack: Travel south on Piermont Avenue
- please watch the speed limit here! Piermont Avenue will change its name to
River Road, and then back to Piermont Avenue again once you enter Piermont.
As you come into the center of Piermont, you will see the M&T Bank on the
left. This is Ash Street - turn left and go to the end. The end of Ash
Street is a T-intersection with art galleries and a restaurant in front of
you. Turn left and then make the first right onto Shad Row. "The View", our
venue, is on your left.
- Directions from New Jersey Turnpike: Head toward the
George Washington Bridge in the Local Lanes. Near the end, as you get close
to the bridge, take Exit 72, titled "Palisades Parkway". At the end of this
exit you will come to a light, turn left at light. Go north for 1 mile to
entrance for Palisades Parkway (north). Get onto the Parkway, and follow
directions from Palisades Parkway, below.
- Directions from New York City: Cross the George
Washington Bridge to NJ on the upper level. Get off at the first exit,
"Palisades Parkway". Follow directions from Palisades Parkway, below.
- Directions from Palisades Parkway: Go north on the
Parkway to Exit 4, Rt 9W. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Rt 9W
North. Cross over the border into New York State, and then go exactly two
more miles on 9W. Turn right at the sign for "Tallman State Park" (this is
Rockland Road). Stay on Rockland Road until it ends at a stop sign. At
the stop, turn right onto Ferdon Avenue. Staying straight, you'll go
through a traffic light. At this point, the name of the road changes to
Piermont Avenue. Then cross over a set of abandoned train tracks and
continue on Piermont Avenue until you get to Ash Street - you will see the
M&T Bank on the right. On Ash Street, make a right and go to the end.
The end of Ash Street is a T-intersection with art galleries and a restaurant
in front of you. Turn left and then make the first right onto Shad Row.
