What's happened is I've become nauseated by the stacks of CD's accumulating in the dusty corners of my studio. I always wanted to be part of a conversation that people were paying attention to, and my feeling is that music has slightly died, stifled by oversaturation.
So for me it's a little dull to make records at the moment... though I might change that thought.
