- Bascha as Constance,
everyone's favorite Malkavian. Perhaps because she's such a cute, little,
8-year-old kid (with the nasty tendency to throw around her Vicissitude
when in mortal danger). Everyone loves a china doll, right? Or, as the
case may be, Dorothy; alternately, Velma.
- Kat as Celeste,
a Lasombra with some ties to the Church (and who's been tied down by some
members of the Church, from the way she talks, but that was back when she
lived in Italy), ties to some locals (who blush and pray harder every time
she goes to mass and sits with the other nobility), and ties to the
Captain of the Guard (who blushes and prays harder, as well). She's also
our sort of good witch, loathsome as she is of most of her clan's
practices, so she's Glenda, Good Witch of the North. Sort of. I think
she makes a better Daphne.
- Josh as Rome, a
Ventrue of no small renown
locally, if only in that he once nearly beat to death a Nosferatu who
accused him of unpleasant relations with small children -- namely the
small children from whom he insists on feeding. "You see, they're
virgins, and thus we must consume their innocence." Tutor to Constance,
Rome is, uh, well, Rome. That's the best way to say it. Or you can call
him the Tin Man; I think of him as Freddy.
- Eric as Colin,
the local nutter who's claimed to be of every known clan and bloodline
plus a few he made up on the spot. Also known as "freaky tavern boy" and
the guy who said to the Prince, "Lycanto. We're a bloodline of the
Gangrel. No, really. I can call animals and everything." More
accurately, he's the Ravnos, and his Chimerstry makes for interesting
effects. He's also the first person I've seen play the Path of Paradox
and understand it's a hell of a lot more than "gimme some elders to kill."
Why write storyline, when the PCs are taking care of it themselves? He
is, of course, The Wizard, unless it's an episode of Scooby Doo, when
he's Shaggy.
- Mike as Quill,
a Cappadocian scholar who's
got a muddled history at best, more than a little to hide (including his
own face), some odd habits, and zero ability to speak with his voice.
Conversations stay simple, when he's involved, but he's got a mind like a
whip and a few tricks up his sleeve. With a face like that, and some bad
burns, he's become The Scarecrow, or the Alien Space Ghost Thingum
They Used When They Ran Out of Ideas.
- Corwin as Aner,
a Brujah who helped reconquer the city of Madrid from those evil, bad,
nasty Almohads. Loyal, strong, fast, noble (but not blue-blooded), poor,
very creative. Once faked needing to widdle in order to catch some
highwaymen unawares, much to the Lasombra's confusion. Works the night
shift on the city watch. A friend of the Captain of the Guard, and our
very own Cowardly Lion; alternately, The Harlem Globetrotters.
