Okay, so here are some quotes, regardless of
context, from the game. I'm going to add the more memorable ones as the
Chronicle progresses.
- "I'm going outside where I can enjoy my meal by myself, okay?"
- "I am your president, this little girl is a Jew, the Nazis are
invading, and I have to protect her."
*long pause as NPC human stares at the Ravnos and the little-girl
Malkavian in shock*
"Screw this little girl business. I'm gonna pop Zulo Form, throw the bed
off of myself, kill this guy, use him for a snack, and get this show on
the road!"
- "Rosa's up in her room, carving a mural on the walls."
"Of course she is."
"See, getting Joel would be easy. He and Rosa hate each other. We stick
her in the middle of a parking lot, surrounded by boxes of dynamite, and
tell him where she is. As long as we give her some wood blocks and a
carving knife, she won't goddamn move."
(mumbled) "Such a waste of good diablerie..."
- "I just want Joel to die."
"Yeah, well, join the friggin' club."
-
"Boy! Find the tall, pale Crusader in the city. You can't miss him.
Tell him 'we've gone back to Damascus.'"
*shakes NPC child about wildly*
"NOW GO!"
- "Man, don't scare off the customers, okay?"
"I have to. I'm sorry. I just have to. I'm not making them run
screaming, just keeping them on their toes."
"Alright, then. I can have the best haunted whorehouse in Annapolis."
"Is there really a lot of competition for a title like 'Best Haunted
Whorehouse in Annapolis, Maryland?'"
- "What clan are you, again?"
"Lycanto. We're a Celtic clan. Been around for a while now."
(writing and speaking) "L-Y-C-A-N..."
"Now, Rome, that should ring a serious bell."
"I'll write: 'L-Y-C-A...*pause, erase*...R-A-V-N-O-S' and say, 'Good to
see you again, Colin.'"
- "I've got the car out by the curb, and the engine is running."
"Engine? It's 1894."
"Okay, I've got the carriage out by the curb, and the horses are running.
In place."
"The horses are in neutral."
- "Rome, do you find yourself answering 'yes' when a milk carton asks,
'Have you seen this child?'"
- "How many people live in this town?"
"Maybe two or three thousand?"
"We could take it out in a few hours. We'll just kill the whole
town."
*pause*
"Wow, 900 years, and nothing really changes."
- "Pulp Friction just sounds like your juicer is on the fritz,
anyway."
- "It's too early in the damn morning for your shit. Now shut up before
I have to turn this car around!"
- "We're six, nine hundred year old vampires, and we're
drag-racing?"
- "Do we always have to torch the whole town?"
- "No, the Blair Witch is not in Raleigh, giving Bob a noogie."
- "Once you know what sort of clean-up you require, let me know. You
never can tell; best laid plans of mice and men, et cetera."
"That's why we never plan."
*NPC flips through a few pages in his binder, scans a paragraph of
text, looks back up at PC*
"You're right, you don't."
