2  Meadville Space Center / Off Topic / CSM and LM...scale models on: December 26, 2007, 02:48:20 AM
Hi!

Can someone tell me where I buy CSM, LM and Saturn V....plastic or metal models ( kit or just assembled ) ?
I come from Italy....so....it's very difficult find them in italian shops.  Bangs Head
I'm looking for on-line shops...that could send them ...and so realize the last part of my collection!

Thanks for answers!  Thumbs Up

4  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Docking with...Keyboard on: December 23, 2007, 02:32:20 AM
Hi!

I've a simple question...
can I perform a perfect CMS/LM docking only by keyboard???
I haven't got a joystick and I would like to perform this important Apollo program's operation.
With Keyboard...it seems rather difficult to realize.... Sad
What are your opinions? It's better preload the scenario just after docking or try to simulate the procedure?
I thought to create a RCS map in which assign the corresponding keyboard's keys...maybe it may help me....! Thumbs Up

Thanks

Sorry for this question....what is the function of this floatation ring?

I don't find nothing about this topic.....
Maybe to avoid the CM sinking?
Are not sufficient, for this, the upright canisters' three bags?

Ok...Thanks again for answers... Thumbs Up

8  Meadville Space Center / Off Topic / Apollo 13....Gimbal Lock on: December 22, 2007, 09:47:54 AM
Hi!

Can someone explain, in a few word (because i know it's difficult), what is the famous "Gimbal Lock" that Commander Lowell (Tom Hanks) says in Apollo 13 movie, when the CM is not controllable?

Is it possible to simulate in Project Apollo Orbiter?Huh

Thanks for answer  Thumbs Up
9  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / CM Floatation Collar on: December 22, 2007, 05:42:23 AM
Hi!

A simple question:
I see in many NASA Apollo CM Splashdown pictures...that
there is a floatation collar...ring...attached to CM...
What is the function...? Is it an automatic deploy system...like cars' airbags?
For floatation...are not sufficient the three bags of upright canisters?

Like in AMSO...is simulated this CM floatation ring? Do I press some switch?

Thanks  Thumbs Up

10  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / LES Canards on: December 22, 2007, 05:33:22 AM
Hi!

I would know if, in Project Apollo Beta, there is some animation or simulation of LES canards...because I don't see deploy them and the lamp no light in any case. Maybe is there some operations or switch or direct key...to press?

Thanks for the answer
11  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / EVA and Lunar Rover on: November 20, 2007, 03:23:50 AM
Hi!

1) I would like to know the way to make EVA on the moon.
When I press "J"...I see the astronaut on the LEM landing pad...
   and then?
   Can I make a "walk"....?If yes...is there a direct command?

2) About the Lunar Rover...is there another command that make the
    astronaut get on it?

Thanks for answers...
12  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: Hatch and raft on: November 19, 2007, 07:47:30 AM
Yes...i do...

It's simple....go to 2D panel....and press these switchs (in order)...

1) cabin depress

2) open hatch

3)EVA

you'll be trasportate in the communication tunnel...
....but it's only this....

however the problem is make the opposite...that is....return to 2D cockpit...
13  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Hatch and raft on: November 19, 2007, 04:23:14 AM
Hi!

I want two informations.

1) When I make a splashdown after any missions...when CM hit water....how
do i open the hatch? There is some switch to command or some direct key?
And there is also the raft?In the previous version there are these nice
    items.

2) About the hatch that connect CM to LM...can i open it?
In stable version it can be opened.

Thanks to all.
14  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Suit test lever on: November 19, 2007, 03:06:11 AM
Hi!

Exploring the 2D CSM cockpit I have noticed that the "suit test" lever lacks in left panel even if I find the correspondent lever bitmap ( "csm_suit_test_lever)in my project apollo folder.  Sad   Why?

Moreover in the LEM right panel:
"Cabin Repress"..."Plss Fill" rotary knobs in a white contour lack.  Sad

What can i do? Maybe make a cvs update?

Thanks  Thumbs Up
15  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Panel Flood and lights on: November 18, 2007, 11:23:15 AM
Hi!

In first place....thanks to all for this wonderful project!! Thumbs Up
It seems like the real...!

I wondered like making to turn on panel lights...panel flood...
i notice some rotary switch...but cannot work...
maybe is there some direct command??

With the stable version of the NASSP i quickly commute the 2 CSM and LM panels from lighted to dimmed...

I notice also a bitmap with this name " panelCSM-ILM "....so i supposed
i can convert in this panel whenever i want...

In this beta versione how does it works??
Please help me... Confused

Thanks...
