Project Apollo - NASSP / Project Apollo - NASSP Development / Moon 3D

Are there any plans of adopting the Moon 3D Mesh into NASSP7. I am using it in Nassp7 while doing the Lunar flyby missions all the time - it works great (see screensot). When you want to land i dont know if it works out you probably end up below the surface. But maybe there is a possibility to fix it? ... before this decade is out Best Regards bubba

Project Apollo - NASSP / Sounds / Re: Add sound in Nassp7

Hello,
and happy new year,
does this mean that i cannot use the tool wich is showed in the wiki to get sound added to the other missions like apollo10 or 15 as long as the config files are not implemented into the specific missions?
i mean it would work to change sound files for apollo 11 but the other missions?

OK ... i have never tried the A11 Scenario to see how it works out, you said the sound package works only during launch and nor during the other flightphases?
Are you the only one who takes care abount the sound environment? I think it is a major part of the simulation, it makes the difference between the Apollo 11 scenario and the others.

Project Apollo - NASSP / Sounds / Re: Add sound in Nassp7

so is there an editor or a programm to add additional soundfiles? i have also some hours of r/t sounds from the eva´s of Apollo 14.
Apollo 11 is the scenario with the most sound files, but other missions like Apollo 14,15,16,17 are much more interesting because of the moon topography and the longer durration of the EVA´s but the sound is missing. Do you need simply more files to implement them, then i can maybe help you out - or do you have allready all the soundfiles? I am not able to insert them but maybe i can find some more?
Best regards

Project Apollo - NASSP / Sounds / Add sound in Nassp7

In the Apollo 11 Scenario are more than hundred of wav files played in the Apollo 11 Mission, in the other Missions there is not that much of different soundfiles. I tried to find out how to add sound files to the other missions - for example for the Apollo 10 Mission there are 90 very nice wav files available -AMSO is using it in their Apollo 10 Scenario. But also for the other missions there are a lot Mission RT sounds.
How to add these Mission sounds, is there a specific editor?

Project Apollo - NASSP / Modeling / Moon 3D Mesh

Hi there was a Moon 3D Mesh on "Orbithangar" to download, and reviews that it workes great with AMSO ann NASSP. Not correct for the lunar landing but for Lunar Orbit missions it gives a great impression! Now i cant find it anymore. Does anybody know were i can download the mesh? I just found another site which provides data for 3D Moon topographie: http://www.3dversion.com/catalog.0.htmlHas somebody used the 3D Mesh or are there Plans to implement it into Project APOLLO. Best Regards bubba

Project Apollo - NASSP / Project Apollo - NASSP News & Discussion / integrated vAGC or ergonomie of Apollo Simulator
|
on: May 19, 2009, 12:47:51 AM

Is there any chance to integrate the vAGC function in the CSM&LM Panels? The thing is, the vAGC is making the functions of the apollo spacecraft as realistic as possible but only from a technical point of view. With the simple AGC you use the panel like in the real spacecraft, like in an airplane simulator you get used to the cockpit as original as possible. Now when i use the vAGC emulation together with the interplanetary MFD and so on the simulation is looking less realistic.
Isnt it possible to use the integrated (in the 2D Panel) DSKY to have the reality like in the vAGC?
I think nassp7 together with orbiter is oneof the greatest simulations ever but some things can be better?! Also the 2D Panels works great, its not nessessary to build all the functions into the virtual cockpit. From my point of view the vCockpit is there to feel where you are, to get a better impression of what it looks like beeing in space.
To build a perfect simulation you have to bring the things together. vAGC, good working 2D Panel, Mission sounds, vCockpit with more eye Positions, vCockpit for LM...

Project Apollo - NASSP / Planning / Eye Positions in Virtual Cockpit
|
on: March 26, 2009, 07:58:24 AM
|
Is there a possibility to implement more eye positions in the virtulal cockpit of the cm and lm? right now there are a couple, like the different crew member positions and the docking windows but in the real apollo missions the astronauts move through the spacecraft and have a lot more options. Is there a possibility to change the "looking position" or to add a couple more positions to get more athmosphere?
Best Regards
