1  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: Apollo 11 Quickstart V16 N65 on: January 15, 2010, 11:45:31 AM
Ohhh, it's good to know that's being worked on.

I guess it's unlikely, but is there any way I could help the project? I don't have any coding or modeling skills, but if there was something more mundane that needed to be worked on I'd like to try. NASSP is by far my favorite Orbiter addon, and anything I could do to help would be a pleasure.

Ohhh, I understand. I love the vAGC (going through my second run of Apollo 8 with it now), but since the vAGC LEM seems to be a while from completion, I want to try the Quickstart. Out of curiosity, will the Apollo 7 vAGC rendezvous procedure be done anytime soon? I'm waiting for that so I can go through the mission.

During the prelaunch checklist, it says to put V16 N65 into the AGC to get the countdown to liftoff. This has worked with Apollo 7 and 8 vAGC, but when I do it with the Apollo 11 Quickstart it just counts up from 0. Is this fixable?
4  Project Apollo - NASSP / News & Announcements / Re: Virtual Cockpit Release Candidate #1 on: January 13, 2010, 03:54:00 PM
Tried this on the September beta a few months back and I would get a CTD whenever I went into the cockpit (though I'm guessing this might have something to do with being on a complete crap laptop). I'll try it on the new beta when I download it later today.

Perfect timing! In the past few days I got a craving for NASSP and came on today to find a new release. Can't wait to try it out later!

Thanks so much for this! I just encountered this problem during TLI and was about to go do the whole prelaunch setup again.

Thanks!
8  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / During Apollo 11 Quickstart, is the center SII engine supposed to cut off early? on: May 10, 2009, 03:55:14 PM
Is that normal procedure? Or did something go wrong?
9  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: RCS problem right before reentry on: May 10, 2009, 11:04:08 AM
That doesn't appear to work. Are the SEC FUEL PRESS switches supposed to be grayed before I switch them to open?

EDIT: I tried it again and just skipped the yawing. I had a turbulent reentry which landed hundreds of miles off, and now according to PAMFD my crew status is critical, but at least they're alive! :DDD
10  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / RCS problem right before reentry on: May 09, 2009, 01:26:27 PM
I'm in the process of preparing for reentry, and I was at the step where the CSM has to be rotated 45 degrees. I started the rotation, but when I tried to stop it, nothing happened. I looked at the C/W panel and noticed that the SM RCS B and SM RCS D lights are lit. I checked out the RCS Indicators, and it turns out thrusters B and D have no pressure, while A and C do. This is a huge problem, as I am about a half hour from reentry. Any possible fixes for this?
11  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: Which scenarios in the Broken Scenarios folder work? on: May 07, 2009, 08:59:36 PM
Aw, too bad. I was really looking forward to trying out that Apollo 11 basic checklist.

Oh well, I guess I'll just hone my skills with Apollo 7 and 8 :D
12  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Which scenarios in the Broken Scenarios folder work? on: May 07, 2009, 08:27:47 PM
(Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this)

I know the Apollo 8 vAGC scenario works (I'm about 80 hours in :DDDD), but I was wondering if any other broken scenarios work.

Also, on a related note: are the Basic Checklists included with the most recent beta for use with quicksave scenarios?
13  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: TLI problem on: April 29, 2009, 06:13:03 PM
Okay, I went back to a save well before I set up IMFD and did it completely freshly. This time, when I TLI'd, I oriented to about 0 degrees relative to the Earth, which I assumed was correct (I didn't get the chance to see the results of the burn as my computer crashed for totally unrelated reasons about twelve seconds into the burn). I saved right before, so I'm going to go see if it worked!

EDIT: The burn seems to have been right on. Thanks for the help!
14  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: TLI problem on: April 29, 2009, 10:18:54 AM
One question, does P30Comp. Mode matter while the TLI is being set or while it's being executed? Because I think I used Mode 2 to set it in those scenarios.
15  Project Apollo - NASSP / Support & Bugs / Re: TLI problem on: April 29, 2009, 07:59:24 AM
There is something wrong. It didn't work during first attempt however during second attempt everything worked fine. There seems to be some kind of random error. I don't have more time right now.

Odd. Well, thanks for giving it a try. I'll try setting up the TLI a few more times and see if it works.

EDIT: My P30Comp. Mode under Config is set to 1 instead of 2, could that be causing the problems? (I have no idea what that means or if it has any impact at all but I noticed I'd set it wrong)
