Hello all! I'm just about done with the meshes & textures for an undamaged version of Skylab and was wondering if there is any way to integrate this to work with NASSP v6.4.3?

I can not code to save my life and as fine as it is, Spacecraft3 doesn't seem to be the way to go.

Is there a cpp file available for the Sat5_Skylab module that I could modify & compile to launch this on the NASSP Saturn V?

Don't know what else to do with this model, but it seems a shame for it to go to waste (it does work with Spacecraft3, but only in orbital configuration).

Thanks for any info or help...

The best way would be to add it to the SIVB DLL, which handles the SIVB once it reaches orbit. We'd need to make some changes to the generic Saturn V code to display the Skylab mesh during launch rather than the SIVB though, and some to the autopilot to get it into space.

Hi Saturn V,

cool Skylab, looks great!  Happy

NASSP 6.4.3 isn't developed further, but we're happy to integrate it in NASSP 7 the way Movieman already outlined. Is the mesh already available for download?

Cheers

Hi Tschachim,

No, I haven't uploaded anything to Orbithangar since I don't have a launch vehicle  Bangs Head. I can send you the mesh & textures if you want them though. If it's incorporated into NASSP 7, it would be an honor.

It's an honor for us to use your great meshes!  Happy

If you like just mail me the Skylabs (Skylab 1 you mentioned here is great, too), email is in my profile, then I'll put it to the NASSP CVS server.

Thanks

Hi Saturn V,

two questions: Did you send the mail already? I didn't get anything, but perhaps the problem is on my site (spam filter etc.)? And in the screenshot above do you use an atmospheric haze extension, the Earth seems to look different and better than I'm used to?

Cheers
