Hello,

I did a CVS Update today Jun 7 - 0300 EST. Now the Apollo 11 quickstart scenario crashes as well as the Apollo 14 Quickstart - Launch scenario.

The Apollo 15 Quickstart works (although the Saturn V is not aligned to the pad, and the pad is not aligned with the crawler tracks).

Just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for the GREAT work so far.

Sounds like the problem lies in one of the new meshes that were updated.  I did a test with the Apollo 15 mission where I added each launch component mesh one at a time (Crawler was already there, so I did ML, VAB, MSS, all added separately so there were no two at the same time)  and all of them worked fine until I added the VAB, and that was when it CTD'd.  Everything else worked fine.  Looking into the orbiter.log, it gave me a missing texture:

Code:
>>> ERROR: Missing texture: ProjectApollo\IntGradShadeg.dds
>>>        [C:\Source\Orbiter\Texture.cpp / 781]

I recall that this was a problem mentioned before, but with the VC panels, not the VAB.  I tested this on two machines (my laptop and the work computer) and it CTD'd on both.  I'll check again at work, where I did a full checkout after having the problem to see if I screwed something up, to see if that texture is causing problems on the VAB.

Missing textures don't make Orbiter crash.

The Apollo 11 quickstart scenario worked for me. Did you install Orbitersound 3.5? I don't know whether the changes require it now, but that was the version I was running with.

 Embarassed Oops, you guys are pretty fast with CVS updates, I didn't expect that, sorry. You'd need to build new modules by yourself after the CSV update, because the meshgroups used in various animations have been changed. At first I wanted to complete the docu for the new stuff, but now I think it's better if I do the new beta modules as soon as possible...

Cheers

ok, I expected that maybe the modules were part of the problem, and guess that was right too.  And it's no problem, shoulda been more patient  Bangs Head
