Hi Apollo fans,

a new beta modules pack is available here:

Major change is the update to OrbiterSound 3.5, you can re-do the initial checkout or update your current installation by doing the following steps. Please note that this procedure deletes your current OrbiterSound configuration and additionally installed sound or .mp3 files.

  • Delete \SoundConfig.exe
  • Delete Modules\Plugin\OrbiterSound.dll
  • Delete all files in the \Sound directory except ".cvsignore"
  • Delete all directories in the \Sound directory except "ProjectApollo" and the hidden "CVS" directory
  • Do a CVS Update of all directories (Config, Doc etc.)
  • Install OrbiterSound 3.5
  • Install the new beta modules

Additionally the meshes have been optimized for better frame rate, more details are here. Some various changes mostly in order to return from the Moon properly are listed here and here, I'll post more about that in the Project Apollo 7 Beta to the Moon thread soon.

Have fun, comments and questions are always welcome!  Happy

Awesome.  Like the yellower exhaust textures and a smoother frame rate.  Looking forward for your tutorial on getting back to Earth.  Shepard's having way too much fun playing golf on the moon  Very Happy
