As far as i know the better version of vAGC we have currently is Colossus 1A 249.

Hi George,

I have a old problem with Virtual AGC of Apollo 8 (Colossus 2). After TLI the V82 (R30 routine) not works. The COMP ACTY lamp is sign infinitely and I stop this only by V36E (fresh restart). If I use the Colossus 3 (Apollo 15) after TLI, it's work.

The Apollo 8 scenario has no proper "pad load" data at the moment, especially the position of the moon is wrong, but Irnenginer is working on that. Apollo 7 is working better, there's no TLI though.

Thanks for your useful information. I hope Irnenginer will able to solve this problem. The Apollo 8 VAGC R30 works properly when I stay on the Earth Parking orbit, because this calculation of Apocente and Pericenter isn't used the Moon position data.

I tested the new IMFD version 5.0. I think is gives better solution for TLI calculation than version 4.6, but I don't know the calculated dV vector unit is feets/sec in the Burn Vector View like in 4.6. I will try it deeper and I will send my new experiences.

Hi Christophe,

I use the downloded last version of source code from CVS, and I compile it by MS .NET. I think this downloded snapshot includes same version of Colussus whitch you described (1A 249) in yor last message.

I have a problem with Apollo 7 separation of first stage after lunch, because crash the orbiter.exe. In Orbite.log I find the next message:

**** WARNING: Mesh not found: .\Meshes\.msh

I use the last CVS source code and compiled it. But I hadn't any problem with Apollo 8 Saturn V vehicle. I couldn't debug this event, because this exception cause into the orbiter.exe. I think it not found a Mesh file, but I don't know witch *.msh file missed. I compared all downloaded mesh file with Orbiter/Mesh directory content, but it seems correct.

Could somebody help me, what I have to see an control.

I use the LowRes mesh and above bug caused the crash of orbiter.exe after separation of first stage at Apollo 7 scenario

Please correct somebody the code in the CVS repository, because I think I haven't any authorisation to edit the CVS source code.

...because I think I haven't any authorisation to edit the CVS source code.

In case you're wondering where the Telemetry MFD posts went, I split them into their own thread in Programming....keep up the good work on them!

My Project Apollo Work:
CM Visual
 -VC (~75% complete: texture work beginning again; mesh-78%; texture-70%)
Propulsion Particle Improvements (Focused on S1B right now, BETA 1.0 has been commited)
New Docking Method (~50% complete: research complete; coding partially completed, testing not underway)

Future Work:  (if it's here, it's deemed unnecessary to upcoming release)

Older Work:  (if it's here, it's fair game to whoever wants to improve)
EMS Implementation (committed: minor flaws, but groundwork is there, needs extensive testing)
EMS scrolls (committed: not refined, but usable)
SM Visual (committed: mesh-finished, texture-60%; possibly revisited in future)
J2 Texture (commited: room for improvement)
LRV (committed: mesh-finished, texture-90%; in future a ground up rebuild may be in order, but not on my plans)
