I am flying the Apollo 8 mission and heading in for reentry with a 6.53 angle. For some reason, the CM seems to get pretty low and then bounce out back into orbit. Once I come around the world again, the reentry is fine. Is there something wrong with my trajectory.

Quite possible, could you post/attach a scenario shortly before entry?
