Hi Apollo fans,

a new beta modules pack is available here: http://nassp.sf.net/wiki/Installation. Please make sure that Orbiter 2006-P1 and OrbiterSound 3.5 is installed. Also please make sure that you do a CVS Update of all directories, that means the Config, Doc, Meshes, Orbitersdk, Scenarios, Sound and Textures directories.

This beta introduces only one major change, the realism modes and (related to that) spacecraft control has been redesigned, now there's only Quickstart Mode and Virtual AGC Mode. Details about this change are here: http://www.ibiblio.org/mscorbit/mscforum/index.php?topic=1742.0

Also all scenarios considered as broken are moved to a new "Broken Scenarios" folder, the only "officially" working scenarios are now "Apollo 7 Quickstart - Launch" and "Apollo 7 Virtual AGC - Launch" as NASSP 7 will cover Apollo 7 only. Of course the moved scenarios aren't changed, so you can use them as before if you like, but it's on your own risk.  Wink

Have fun, comments and questions are always welcome!

Cheers

There's no such thing like a "DSKY program", the DSKY is just a "terminal" for the AGC. The Quickstart Mode uses the Simple AGC written by us (including LazyD), so LazyD's great work is used in Quickstart Mode.

The Virtual AGC Mode uses the Virtual AGC, which runs the original NASA flight software we did not write obviously.  Cool

Cheers

I'm having my usual problem with the CVS updates because I have a home dial-up connection, any chance of a CVS snapshot for this update?

Thanks for setting up the snapshot. I've finally had a chance to download it and I think I'll take the chance to do a clean install with this one.

Then I can get back to working on my 'generic launch scenarios'.

Just wondering are there any plans for a new CVS snapshot. I'm having my usual problems trying to update via dial-up.
