The talkback appears grey and black striped rather than a solid color

Old post but just in case anybodys looking.

Barber Pole or BP...USUALLY means that whatever the talkback (the indicatior that displays Open,Barber Pole,Closed or On,BP or Off) monitors is in an indeterminate state, or is between open and closed..or on or off.

If you command a valve from Closed to Open and it gets stuck...the TB (talkback) will display BP (barberpole).
