Hi Guys,

I have recently started to have a go at flying Apollo 8 vAGC using the new checklists, but am having a problem finding a scenario that will work. I have updated CVS several times but still can find nothing.   Confused

Any help for a noob would be much appreciated  Happy

The only one I know is "Project Apollo - NASSP\Broken Scenarios\Virtual AGC\Apollo  8 - Launch".

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah I have been trying that scenario but the booster was behaving very strangely after loading, ie just falling back to earth from the launch tower and tumbling around! I assumed thats why the scenario was broken!
However I forgot to deactivate Meshland, and that seems to do the trick! Problem solved!  Happy

Don' forget to change the CMPAD-values in the scenario file (->http://www.ibiblio.org/mscorbit/mscforum/index.php?topic=2007.0), which fixes the CMC TVC (don't forget your TVC SERVO POWER and GIMBAL MOTORS like some rookie who messed up TEI an hour ago *whistle*). And when you use jc's checklist, always use comp. mode 1 of the IMFD.

And for going to the moon you can try LTMFD instead of IMFD which is very simple to use and will get you on almost the exact same trajectories as the real missions, provided you set it up right.  http://www.ibiblio.org/mscorbit/mscforum/index.php?topic=2013.0

I committed these CMPADs to CVS as these are the best TVC values we're having.

Went ahead and de-grayed the TVC steps in the vAGC flightplans since it seems to be functioning sufficiently enough for the time being. Also added a few other smaller changes.
