During the prelaunch checklist, it says to put V16 N65 into the AGC to get the countdown to liftoff. This has worked with Apollo 7 and 8 vAGC, but when I do it with the Apollo 11 Quickstart it just counts up from 0. Is this fixable?

Well, the Quickstart Mode scenarios use the Simple AGC (http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Simple_AGC). The Simple AGC doesn't understand most of the stuff used in the checklists, but for my part I don't care (at least not for now) as the Quickstart Mode is intended for users who don't want to use the AGC and the other real Apollo systems that much but do it "the Orbiter way" (i.e. fly the CSM like the delta glider, do burns with TransX or IMFD autoburn etc.).

Cheers

Ohhh, I understand. I love the vAGC (going through my second run of Apollo 8 with it now), but since the vAGC LEM seems to be a while from completion, I want to try the Quickstart. Out of curiosity, will the Apollo 7 vAGC rendezvous procedure be done anytime soon? I'm waiting for that so I can go through the mission.

Well, at least before the Apollo 7 release...  Wink

People are working on that already, some threads:

Ohhh, it's good to know that's being worked on.

I guess it's unlikely, but is there any way I could help the project? I don't have any coding or modeling skills, but if there was something more mundane that needed to be worked on I'd like to try. NASSP is by far my favorite Orbiter addon, and anything I could do to help would be a pleasure.

Yes, if you have a good understanding of the Apollo systems, you could help with the wiki documentation. There are a lot of reference articles missing, for example most of the ECS and SCS devices. The SPS article is a good example of how a rather complete article should look like: http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/SPS

... even proof reading of the existing articles would be helpful.  Happy
