One suggestion:

Do both versions of the Big Gemini adapter modules:



The one on top there is the Big Gemini RM with a cylindar for a cargo module, whereas the bottom one is a scaled up Gemini adapter module. (Note the conical shape)

Here is a better image of the conical version:




The cylindar version is for launch on the Titan IV, whereas the conical version is for the Saturn IB launcher.

This should also be of some help for when it comes time for the conical version, Big G on the Saturn IB:



This idea was later scrapped in favor of more complex Saturns using SRB's, however, I feel the Sat IB was the best idea.
