This project looks really exciting! Browsing through the forums it looks like the CSM is mostly done and the LM has a long way to go for now.

So I'd like to get an idea of the current to-do list:
What's preventing the missions only involving the CSM (Apollo 7&8 ) from being released? (I'm guessing mostly documentation?)
What's the biggest hurtle involving the LM development so far?

I don't know much about programming, but I'd like to help any way I can!

Nevermind, I found this information elsewhere on the forum.

I'd definately be willing to take a crack at documentation. I've noticed a lot of important systems (mainly the SCS and ECS) have little to no documentation on the wiki. I could work on completing those articles and then compile all of them into a NASSP Operations Handbook PDF or doc. I was also thinking of doing a control and display chapter (like what is found in the real AOH) as it applies to orbiter. Natrually this will just cover the CSM.
