Hi there.

Please can someone help me. I am busy with CSM Sep and cam across the calculation in the word checklists that needs to be done in order to turn towards the sun for docking illumination. One calculation needs to be done if "HDS up" and another if "HDS down".

Can someone please explain that to me? How do I know if HDS is up or down? Embarassed

Any helpe explaining that procedure will be much appreciated. Loving learning and playing as usual.

Thanks

Heads up and down are based on your FDAI. The current method is to use Attitude MFD to determine the offset from the Sun (heads up/down determines which direction you yaw in), but I think the historical angles should work well.
