Hey folks,

be advised that I'm currently implementing Artemis' rendezvous targeting routines in C++, with the intention to get some sort of 'RTCC MFD'. We'll need that to compute AP7's rendezvous maneuvers anyway and from my understanding of the routines it does not make any difference -spoken in terms of precision and/or computing performance- if we use those routines or develop something completely new. For me, one of the advantages is that those routines spew out burn data in LVLH directly; cabalistic transformations not necessary! Very Happy
Another interesting aspect is that the subroutines can be used as some sort of 'tool box' for other problems; I've already developed some sort of raw sketch on solving that phasing maneuver problem. However, that point is down on the list. I'll get there when the rendezvous stuff works neatly. First things first. Wink

Wootage! Still hoping for a TCP/IP-based MCC simulator, but you're right. First things first. LOL

My Project Apollo work in progress:
* New detailed Lunar Module Ascent stage with virtual cockpit (VC currently planned as eye candy only) 18 % done

My Project Apollo work to be continued:
* new Service Module SPS engine bell
* various Saturn V textures, exhaust textures
* SIM Bay for the SM

My long-term plans are to create a:
* New detailed Lunar Module descent stage (eventually models of all flown LM's)
* New F-1 engines for the S-1C stage showing the foil (batting) insulation
* New LUT and launch pad (if nobody else does it)

I've got to confess that I haven't done that much on it the past few weeks. My ex-gf (now fiancee) made me 'flight director' of a little girl on Nov 23th. Very Happy Very Happy
Miriam Sally ('Walentina' as second name was ruled out by her mother Wink) maybe doesn't know anything about deep space communications yet, but she knows very well how to use her high gain antenna. Wink
Sleep can be a precious thing if you can't get it... Undecided

Thanks. Very Happy
To be most honest: we didn't really 'work' on it. We both wanted (and still want more) kids; actually, we wanted to wait until we'd married (which would have happened this month -Miriam threw over our plans Wink), but the antibiotics my girl had to take for the flu last winter blocked her pill. I plainly scored the goal when there was no keeper, so to speak. Wink
