I looked through the AOH switch list (rather extensive). The STAR ACQ light is just left in there and doesn't do anything. Presumably, if the Block II was gonna keep the automated star tracker, the STAR ACQ light would indicate that the desired star or distant body had been locked up, and was ready to automatically track. ICYWI, the Shuttle used a pair of star trackers for in-flight alignment of the IMU and some rendezvous tracking.

@RacerXx. since we are now hitting V8, is there any progress on these new panel bmp files?  The previews in this and the Virtual AGC thread look wonderful I would love to see them find their way into the sim soon Happy

At least those DSKY changes for the new lights on the LGC for Apollo 15 and later have already been commited. Optics panel in the CSM would be next.
