Hi Apollo guys,

I'm writing the checklists for TLI and transposition & docking and decided to change the usage of the docking probe in standard realism level, just because it was "historically too wrong" to undock with the right of the both CSM/LM FINAL SEP switches. Wink

I also introduced a docking probe extension sound, but I didn't found a cool wav file, so I would like to ask if someone else has an idea or some links where I can find cool sounds. I think a kind of "fizzle sound" like from a pneumatic cylinder would be cool, about 2-4s long.

Thanks and Cheers

About the Transposition process...

The rule is 180 degree pitch maneuver. Many people said that is a yaw manoeuver. Are you agree about that Wink

It was a Pitch up according to the Apollo 11 Technical Debrief.

Are you talking like the sound of a Hypospray in Star Trek but longer?

I have the perfect idea if you do. Shake up a soda a bit and open it slightly in front of a microphone. Ill see what I can do.

Wouldn't a 180deg yaw maneuver cause gimbal lock?
