Hi all,

I've just tried the VACG - Apollo 8 Launch scenario on the Beta 7.0 and it's really fantastic Yes

Only a (maybe stupid) question ... there's some way to start the scenario with the mission timer set to -3:00:00 in order to following the original timeline on the check list ? I' know this is not historically correct, but for me is very useful  Rolling Eyes

Thanks

I've asked about this in the past and gotten the same answer, No. The Mission Timer is not designed to count down, which is also what I would like to do for the same reason. It only counts up from the actual time of launch, or T=000:00:00. Version 6.4.3 had the MET counting down, so it is possible, and I could alter the routine in the SDK to include a countdown mode, but I would have to check the 6.4.3 SDK to determine how this is done.

or if you want a T- count, open up ProjectApolloMFD.....it has the T- count til launch.

My Project Apollo Work:
CM Visual
-VC (~75% complete: texture work beginning again; mesh-78%; texture-70%)
Propulsion Particle Improvements (Focused on S1B right now, BETA 1.0 has been commited)
New Docking Method (~50% complete: research complete; coding partially completed, testing not underway)

Future Work:  (if it's here, it's deemed unnecessary to upcoming release)

Older Work:  (if it's here, it's fair game to whoever wants to improve)
EMS Implementation (committed: minor flaws, but groundwork is there, needs extensive testing)
EMS scrolls (committed: not refined, but usable)
SM Visual (committed: mesh-finished, texture-60%; possibly revisited in future)
J2 Texture (commited: room for improvement)
LRV (committed: mesh-finished, texture-90%; in future a ground up rebuild may be in order, but not on my plans)

Right, Apollo 8 is one of the 'Supported Vessels' for Apollo MFD, but this would not work for other Non-VAGC missions like 11. I will try to add a countdown mode for myself and maybe pass it on as an Add-on or option.

There was a bug in the ProjectApolloMFD regarding vessel identification, this should be fixed now, otherwise please report the scenarios, which are not working.

Cheers
