are the switch positions when you first start orbiter, is everything suppost to be off?  If not, how can i set it like the real mercury so that i have to set the switches before launch?

Could you set the switches to the positions you want and then save the scenario?  (I don't recall whether Mercury 5.0 saves all switch positions when scenarios are saved).

yeah, that worked, but the last time i tried that a while ago, it didn't work
