[Trawlers built in 1948]

The first couple of years after the war, a lot of new trawlers had been built , mostly to replace those lost during that war. This page offers you a list of vessels built or launched in 1948. As you can see, not many vessels of that time survived.

1948 is also the year in when the Stockholm of the Swedish American Line had been built. This vessel, known for its collision with the Andre Doria, is still in use as a cruise vessel.
