[Beliard & Crighton]

Short history

The abandoned complex at the end of the Houtdok, now days totally detoriated, was once one of Belgian largest shipyards.

In 1983, Beliard & Crighton stopped building vessels in steel. Under the name N.V. Mercantile-Beliard, they started constructing vessels in polyester. Their last steel-built trawler was the Z.47 Saturnus.

More information about this yard will follow.
