DISSATISFACTION WITHIN THE NASAKA BORDER SECURITY FORCES : A NA-SA-KA MAJOR'S CONFISCATION OF PRIVATE SHRIMP FARMS FOR OWN BENEFIT REPORTED TO WESTERN COMMAND
Maungdaw, 22th December 01: A major of the Nasaka border security forces confiscated private shrimp farms at Maungdaw township in the western part of Myanmar for personal gains, the Nasaka troops in the area reported to their authority, our correspondent learned from one of the dissatisfied Nasaka troops.
The Nasaka major named San Aung, commander of Nasaka Area No. 1, confiscated privately owned twenty-one acres of shrimp farm of Udaung village tract under Maungdaw township for his personal gains without reporting the matter to the higher authority.
