68 Days Abducted Burmese Citizens Rescued By Bangladesh Police


Cox’s Bazar, November  25: Cox’s Bazar police rescued a Burmese citizen abducted by Bangladesh miscreants after 68 days of abduction.


According to the Cox’sbazar based Bangli paper, the daily Ajker Bideah Desh issued on 10 November, it was known that a Burmese prawn trader was abducted by Bangladesh miscreants located at Nila, Tek Naf Township on 3rd September and demanded a ransom of Tk. 200 thousands from abducted parents who reside in Maungdaw, Burma.


According to tip off from local people Bangladesh BDR and Police rescued this Burmese person who was kept under arrest tied with iron chain in Nila Para, Mr.Arlung’s resident on 9 November.


Now the man was kept under arrest for illegal immigrant to Bangladesh.


Bangladesh police also detains seven culprits, who involved in the incident. #
