Bangladesh Cabinet approves MOU on agricultural with Burma

Dhaka, December 24
: Bangladesh cabinet in its regular weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia approved a proposal to sign a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on agriculture between Bangladesh and Burma, reports a national daily of Bangladesh on 23rd December. 

In recent years, relations between Bangladesh and Burma having growing at various phases like border trade agreement, construction of transborder high way and regional cooperation etc. Hence, MOU is another approach between the two neighbouring countries.

By the MOU both the sides would be benefited, Burma by exporting food grains to Bangladesh and Bangladesh by fertilizer to Burma, the observers said.

The cabinet meeting was attended by members of the cabinet and State Minister of the concerned ministries. #
