Bangladeshi vessel sinks at Burma Coast

 

Dhaka, May 24: A Bangladeshi vessel capsized at Burma costal near the Andaman Island hit by cyclonic storm at Friday night.

 

According to the financial express, the vessel was carrying more than 8 thousands tons of sugar worth $ 4.5 million (Taka 260 million) from Thailand.

 

Source said a business company Meghna group of Bangladesh imported the sugar from Thailand to meet internal demand.

 

The vessel is belonging by Bangladesh United shipping Agency and all crewmen are Bangladeshi citizens. There is not report till now about the fate of the crews.  

 

A rescue team from Bangladesh has been rushed to the sport since Saturday. #
