Burma FM to visit
Bangladesh on 24
February

Military Government Foreign Minister (FM) Nyan Win
will come to Dhaka on 24 February, said a report.
During his days in Bangladesh
he is giving final endorsement to the project of the proposed road line between
Rangoon and Dhaka.
He will hold several meetings with his counterpart Bangladesh
Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan and other high
officials on various bilateral issues during his three days visit.
According a report of Bangladesh Foreign Ministry, on
February 25 Burma
FM Nyan Win is going to lay the foundation stone of a
bridge at Taungbro under the Cox’sbazar
district of Bangladesh.
The tri-nation gas pipeline issue export to India
from Burma
through Bangladesh
will also include in the agenda of meeting between Burma
and Bangladesh
officials.
But the direct road line issue between Rangoon
and Dhaka is prevailing in the meetings among the other
issues, said an analyst.
It is first trip of Burma Foreign Minister to Bangladesh
after he became foreign Minister.
He will return back to Burma
on 26 February.#
