One Burmese sailor has sunk to his death in Bangladesh

A Burmese sailor from a Burmese-owned cargo ship sunk to his death in Bangladesh on April 8th, said a local report from the border area.

 

He accidentally died while he was looking for molluscs and mollusc shells in the Naaf River of Bangladesh.

The incident occurred near to a jetty in the Taknef Town of Bangladesh, across from Maung Daw on the Burmese side, while the cargo boat was docked in the jetty.

 

The dead man was identified as Thein Aye, 29, from Rangoon, and his passport number is 072870, said a report. #
