This law was adopted on the 11th of October 2011 and came into force on the 9th of March 2012, though it is unclear whether the Legislature has adopted all enabling regulations (an amended Trade Disputes Act was enacted 28 March 2012) containing elements like the conciliation mechanisms referred to in the LOL. ...Apologies for the poor graphic quality of the Burmese text. There are also some errors in translation in the (official) English version --- Para 5 should read: ".......carry out its activities under its ....." and Para 48 should read: "....shall not be used for any other purpose than the matters provided....."
