Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, is a professional service organization composed of pre-law students, legal educators, attorneys, judges, and government officials. Phi Alpha Delta was founded in 1902 for the purpose of promoting professional competency and achievement within the legal profession.

Since the beginning, Phi Alpha Delta has experienced astounding growth and today is the world's largest law fraternity with over 150 pre-law chapters, 176 law school chapters and 90 alumni chapters in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

The PAD Pre-Law Program was established in 1980 and in less than 20 years has reached a position of preeminence at colleges and universities across the United States and Puerto Rico. PAD has effectively mobilized and utilized its most important resource... the PAD members themselves to develop and implement its Pre-Law Program.

Phi Alpha Delta strives to connect its pre-law members with its law student and practicing attorney members. Through the PAD Network, pre-law students can gain first-hand information about law school and the legal profession.

PAD is committed to providing resources and information to assist undergraduate students in making an informed choice in selecting law as a career, deciding which law school to attend, preparing for law school, and understanding the practice of law.
