Frances and I saw today 8/10 about 1000 am 4 Hudsonian Godwits at N. Pond
about half way between each end of the pond opposite power pole # 66. We
had to use the scope in the bed of the pickup truck to see over the marsh
grass. They were in the middle with a group of about 10 Marbled Godwits.
Also saw several Piping plovers at the n. end of the N. pond. There were
lots of Black-bellied plovers still in breeding plumage and many peeps.
Others reported on Friday a Stilt sandpiper & a Whimbrel which we didn't
see. Good birding, Jim
