Winter/Summer Story in N. Durham County

Yesterday morning (Sat , Oct 19) Janet and I took our usual walk near the
house and saw a nice collection of "our" winter birds

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - first sighting
Hermit Thrush- first sighting
Cedar Waxwing - small flock including one with an orange terminal tail band
White Throated Sparrow- singing
Yellow-rumped Warbler- small flock

We were surprised to see two juvenile indigo buntings.
