Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Winslow Sod Farm, NC

Hello Folks,

A rainy visit to Winslow Sod Farm near Scotland Neck produced a
Buff-breasted Sandpiper, identified by Sharon Funderburk, one Lesser
Yellowlegs, some Pectoral Sandpipers (maybe 25 or so - hard to count in the
rain), and a good number of Killdeer. Other shorebirds were flying around,
but the light was too pour to identify them in the distance. There's a lot
of standing water because of the downpours. Tomorrow could be a good day
there for shorebirds.
