Falls Lake shorebirds etc.

Hi,

here you are this morning shorebird's count from Ellerbe Creek mud
flats.

Am. Golden Plover 3 juv. (my first juvenile ever and first for
Carolina)
Killdeer 15
Semipalmated Pl. 6
Greater Yellowlegs 1 juv.
Lesser Yellowlegs 27 juv. 2 ad
Pectoral Sand. 41 (mostly juv.)
Western Sand. 4 juv.
Semipalmated Sand. 7 juv.
Least Sand. 198 juv. 8 ad
Sora 1

Shorebirds are no the move. There were still some birds coming to the
place. One Golden Plover came for a couple of minutes and then joined 2
other juveniles just passing by. They did a couple of circles and just
gone. It is more "muddy" on a way however still no problem with access
to good spots.
That was goon time for small guys as well.
eastern Phoebe 3
White-eyed Vireo 5
Blue-headed Vireo 1
Philadelphia Vireo 1
Red-eyed V. 6
Blue-winged Warbler 1
N. Parula 2
Chestnut-sided W. 5
Black-throated W. 1
Prarie W. 3
Pine W. 4
Palm W. 2
Yellow W. 2
Common Yellowthroat 12
Swamp Sparrow 1
Mosquitos - several thousands, mostly adult females ;-)

Weekend could be very, very interesting.
