Spent a rather unproductive morning birding at Jordan Lake today.
Didn't find any waterfowl. There were a few fly-over DC Cormorants and
several very distant gulls that were most likely Ring-bills. Land birds
were also sparse. There was one decent flock along the closed road
between the boat launch and recreation area entrance at Ebenezer Point.
Both kinglets were present. The best bird was a furtive (what else)
Winter Wren in a wet area.
