Santee Coastal Reserve



Hi Carolinabirders,
This morning Paul Rogers, Bob Maxwell and I birded at the Santee Coastal
Reserve in Charleston County.  One real good bird- See below

Pied-billed Grebe-7
EARED GREBE-1 This bird was loosely associating with a scaup in the
first or second impoundment on the left.  It was much smaller than the
duck had the narrow all dark neck and at least the gold plumes against
the side of the dark head.  Yes, it looked more like a breeding bird
than a winter plumaged bird.
