Eno River State park

I went to Eno River State Park to see if any spring migrants had arrived.
As soon as I got out of my car Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were calling. I never
got out of reach of the sound of a pair of Gnatcatchers the whole lenght of
my mile and a half walk. Yellow-throated warblers were heard although not
seen. They were always on the other side if the river and in the second or
third stand of trees.

In my yard I'm still seeing wintering birds i.e. Juncos and Yellow-bellied
Sapsuckers. Chipping Sparrows have returned looking good and well groomed
in their fresh molt. White-throated Sparrows are looking brand new as well.
