related to Susan's post, last fall KC Foggin of Myrtle Beach sent me a pic
she had taken of a PABU adorned with numerous bands. i gave KC both Paul and
the Banding Lab e-mail addresses. Paul contacted KC with info on where and
when the bird had been banded.
not only did KC see a neat bird, she helped add a bit of data to an
important research project. if you've read anything other than a field guide
description about Painted buntings, you know why this project has import.
